Doolin is a charming fishing village on the Northwest coast of County Clare. Set against the rugged Atlantic Ocean, it is surrounded by the spectacular bare limestone landscape of the Burren National Park. Here rivers flow underground and rare flora bloom from rocky beds.. Doolin village itself has won a place on the world map as the centre of Irish music, and to which musicians and singers come from all corners of the world to swap tunes and to experience Doolin
Following an early morning transfer from Head Office, the group will enjoy a wonderful lunch in the hotel at the selected destination. After lunch the groups will be transferred to their selected activity location. The activity options at each of the three venues will entail a wonderful fully guided hike, a fully serviced and managed cycle and an opportunity to take part in some yoga/meditation activity.
On completion of the afternoon’s activities the group will enjoy a wonderful evening meal in their hotel, and are free to relax and enjoy the remainder of the night.
After a hearty breakfast, the group will split again for the various activities we have lined up for today.
Ideally each person would do a different activity today than they did on day 1.
Each of the 3 venues have a number of other activity options if required, but Pedal and Putt Corporate’s experience shows it’s better to limit the options to three.
At the end of the morning’s activities the group will enjoy a well – earned late lunch, before departing on the return journey to Head Office.
This wonderful old world hotel has the most wonderful views out across magnificent Killary harbour. The village of Leenane, made famous by Richard Harris in the film The Field, sits at the head of this spectacular fjord almost equidistant from Westport and Clifden. The fresh seafood on the menu here is always top class and is always enjoyed by clients.
