Stage 6. Dingle to Lahinch

We have to be honest with you on this one: the best parts of this stage are the start and the finish. The middle section of this stage is a little dull and flat and the road surface is poor. (It’s better that we tell you this upfront rather than you finding out the hard way!)

If you wish, you can do the whole stage on the bike but we recommend cutting this stage short and considering a few alternative options:
  1. Cycle the first half of the stage and play golf in the afternoon with Golf Wild (link to Golf Wild site). With 3 world-famous links golf courses (Ballybunion, Tralee, Lahinch) within 40 minutes’ drive, you could enjoy a more leisurely afternoon on the green. Please note that any round(s) of golf must be booked when booking your tour with us as tee times are limited for non-members and demand for tee times is extremely high from May to September.
  2. Cycle for half the day, stop for lunch in Kilrush (DISTANCE?) and then take your pick of what Ireland’ west coast has to offer off the bike! We can arrange anything from a kayak adventure to a walking tour of the iconic Cliffs of Moher; we’re not just about cycling!
