Connemara Golf Club

Situated on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean at Ballyconneely, outside the picturesque town of Clifden, Connemara Golf Club is a rugged and challenging Links course with some stunning scenery. What I have always enjoyed about Connemara Golf Club is the variation of scenery, from the mountains on one side to the wild Atlantic Ocean on the other. If the wind blows in from the ocean, the back nine is particularly challenging, but the warm West of Ireland welcome in the clubhouse makes it all worth while.

Like all good Links courses, the sea is never too far away!
Connemara has some really undulating greens as you can see here. Bring your A putting game!
See what I mean about undulating greens!
This green is so exposed! Here’s hoping you get a calm day!
A wonderful look across the Links and up to the clubhouse. The food is terrific by the way!
Look at the colour of that sea, try having a swim after the round, trust me.
